We’re hiring a Neighbourhood Producer
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of socially-engaged arts practice and bring excellent organisational skills, patience, and resilience to this unique role.
The Neighbourhood Producer will be required to create space for resident conversations to notice, listen and respond to the associations being made/ideas being exchanged between people. This will actively influence what opportunities LeftCoast can co-create or consolidate in our resident communities and effect which artists we commission to work alongside us.

Key activity will be to:
- Hold space for creative conversations between artists and residents
- Support artists and resident collaborations to test and elevate ideas
- Collaborate with our neighbourhood partners (e.g. Blackpool Coastal Housing, Groundwork, Volunteer Blackpool, Revoelution etc) to ensure commissioned projects have lasting impact and resonance with them and their wider community
- Develop and support targeted activities with those new to the arts to help achieve LeftCoast project outcomes
- Play an active team role in our cross-neighbourhood commissions that include 10-year birthday celebrations, Lightpool and summer responsive commissions
- Work alongside the LeftCoast team to consolidate practice and share learning
