LeftCoast’s free Workshop Wednesdays back for 2023

Mereside’s free Workshop Wednesdays are returning to Wash Your Words: Langdale Library &
Laundry Room this week.

We’re excited to announce the first artist of 2023 joining LeftCoast will be local sewer Lucy Plumbley, from The Sewing Institute

Lucy will be sharing her skills and knowledge on how to make a recipe themed collage, reusing and repurposing scrap textiles as well as your own memorabilia and photographs.

Head to Wash Your Words, 1a Langdale Place, Langdale Road, FY4 4TR in Mereside on 11th and 18th January to take part in the free sessions.

Following Lucy’s visit, LeftCoast will host the Make Your Own Memory Cushion workshop on 25th January.

Bring along an old cushion inner and clothing that holds a special meaning to you to create a new cushion cover you’ll cherish for years to come.

Each workshop is free and will runs from 1pm – 4.30pm. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.
