Applications open for Future Popular

Future Popular is LeftCoast?s commissions programme open to artists, creative producers and arts organisations based in Blackpool and Wyre.

LeftCoast is looking for dynamic, innovative and sustainable proposals from Blackpool and Wyre based artists? to develop and present a project for the people who live and work here and explore how creativity can play a central part in the future of Blackpool and Wyre.

There are three types of funded commissions available in Round 5 and are open to any art form. You will need to specify what art form and which community setting you want to work in within our application.

The award runs for six months and you need to be able to demonstrate that you can successfully plan and deliver your project to time and to budget. All projects must have final reports submitted by mid-October.

In this round we are shaking it up a bit, adding more variety, more opportunities and challenges? there are 3 strands that individual artists, arts organisations, creative producers or collectives can apply for:

  • ?Future Popular ? Performs
  • Future Popular ? Collective
  • Future Popular ? Ambitious

For more information about each of the strands download the guidance?here.
